An internship is a professional learning/working experience that offers students meaningful exposure to work in their field of studies. An internship provides you with the opportunity for career exploration and for development of new skills. Internship positions are mutually beneficial to students and companies. Students are able to gain hands-on experience and companies are able to assess potential candidates for employment with reduced cost and risk. We maintain strong links with industry leaders and dynamic partnerships with employers to inspire students and secure high graduate employment rates

Intakes

The academic year consists of a Fall and a Spring Semester, each 16 weeks long, inclusive of registration, holidays, and final examinations. The Fall Semester begins in the last week of September, and the Spring Semester begins in the first week of February. An eight-week Summer Session is also offered, beginning in June and ending in July.

Employment

• Part time work during studies is allowed according to relevant laws to students who have a work permit

• During the semester students are allowed according to relevant laws to work up to 20 hours per week

• During break time students are allowed according to relevant laws to work up to 38 hours per week

• Third country graduate level students, after completion of their Master’s Degree are allowed according to relevant laws, to seek work opportunities in the fields of their graduate studies, up to a period of 12 months.
